Profile I spent my formative years fishing the lakes and ponds of Cheshire, during this period I caught various species including Tench, Roach, Perch & Pike.
I then progressed to river fishing in the early nineties, Fishing such rivers as the Dane and River Weaver.

I then joined the Barbel Society, during this period I became the R.O for the Cheshire region plus a junior tutor, this gave me the opportunity to fish other rivers, including the Trent, Severn, Teme & Kennet where I achieved many personnel multiple catches including many double figure fish, this concluded with a stunning River Teme Barbel of 12.1 which appeared in Trefor West’s book a Lifetimes Addiction.

In the last few years I have mainly concentrated on the lovely River Dove where I have experienced some legendary catches, including two 13lb plus barbel in the same session.

I have also spent the last couple of years giving talks and slide shows along side Dave Mason to various clubs and organisations.
